I rented a car this week for work. I went to the counter and the friendly customer service person asked if I had a preference on which car I wanted. The following is an excerpt of our conversation:
“Do you have a preference on what car you want” - Rental guy
“I’ll take something fun to drive. Can you fit anything interesting and fun to drive on my reservation” - me
“Well, I have a Accent or a Dodge Dart” - Rental guy
“” - me

I think I would have rather than had a Taurus. Picked the Dart. It wasn’t bad, part throttle with light engine load throttle calibration was fucking terrible though.

Hahaha, those are pretty much what I’ll offer when people ask for fun things in their economy-midsize reservation and not want to pay extra. Can’t pay a small5 or 10 a day extra to get the CTS, 370z, muscle car, etc? Enjoy your toyota corolla CVT.
